Sparx, the socially focused educational technology company, has today announced that it has been selected by the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) as a preferred supplier for its award-winning approach to personalised maths learning. The announcement follows a rigorous vetting process which included ASCL speaking to ASCL school and college leaders who use Sparx, as well as a thorough assessment of the Sparx solution – Sparx Maths.
ASCL has selected Sparx as their preferred supplier in relation to maths-based online learning, teaching and education platforms that provide adaptive and individualised learning solutions. Sparx Maths is an in-class and homework solution underpinned by an adaptive, AI technology platform, which gives each learner personalised content to aid progress and cut teacher workload.
Duncan Baldwin, Deputy Policy Director, ASCL said:
“It was such an eye-opening experience visiting Sparx and seeing the passionate team working so hard to improve the numeracy and mathematics of young learners around the world. Having dedicated so many years to educational research, and through its use of technology, Sparx will help us all understand more about the way young people learn maths.”
Dan Sandhu, CEO of Sparx said:
“Through our many years of school-based research we have seen first-hand how important school leaders are for ensuring learning technologies make a measurable impact on teaching and learning. Our partnership with ASCL is an important step in helping us to open up new conversations with school leaders and is a ringing endorsement of our work to support 11 to 16 years olds to learn and love maths.”
Sparx joins an exclusive group of market-leading ASCL partners. As part of the new partnership, Sparx hopes to involve ASCL, and its members, on future product development.
